He caught a FISH this BIG!!!!

It's early morning and the lake is a sheet of glass. The children are happily feeding the fish at the dock. All is peaceful! I am in the midst of packing the truck when I hear the screams! The kids were screaming and I couldn't understand any of them. I start to run down to the lake when I am able to hear Samantha scream for the camera "Mommmmm get the camera Daddy has caught a BIG fish!!!!" Not really buying it because if you know my husband you know his brothers both got the fishing genes in the family and he got none. So to make the kids happy I grab the camera and start running. You can see in this first picture it's blurry....cause I was running:




Then I catch this moment and think there had better be something good:



The man is just bursting with excitement!



You would like to think in this picture he is showing his kids the fish and the right way to take off the hook. When he is actually still freaking out that he caught it and asking me what he should do next


I try to tell him to hold the pole up with the fish hanging from the line for a proper "fish catch moment" but he is too scared the fish will fall back into he water and he wants to make sure I have documented this fully.



"Steve hold the damn fish up already?"



"Like this you want me to hold it like this?"


"Or like this?"


Now they think they should try and save it and this bucket will do


Great idea! It's a perfect fit!


After years of casting and always coming up empty handed. He has made his dream come true of finally catching the "BIG" fish! "This was a monumental moment" he said as he stood and pondered his achievement!
