Some BIG trees fell down...

Here's some random pictures of the damage in our area from the storm last week. We drove around for almost 2 hours looking at it all. I don't think anyone expected to wake up to this much destruction. This would have been called a hurricane had this originated in the caribbean.

This sign was funny because there was a huge tree down blocking the entrance that made it clear that the park was closed.....



This was our neighbors tree - if you look close you can see the underground wires



This poor guy. So there was 4 cars in this driveway and this truck was the owners baby. He had no insurance on it because it was so old. He was so upset! It was a total loss:



This was the block behind ours - We think this tree was what started the power outage. Us and a few other houses lucked out and we didn't lose power but we did lose cable, phone and internet and that was worse than losing power...lol




Another neighbors house - they happen to keep fake flowers in there flower boxes ALL YEAR ROUND. Too bad the flower boxes weren't knocked down



Steve checking in on Lou's generator while they were away for the day. We always make fun of it and the fact that he bought it but he was the one laughing now after he had power and no one else did
