OK so here is Anthony's 1st time in a pool and that was the purpose of the picture but Bella see's the camera and she starts posing (ps-Anthony lasted all of about 5 min. he liked it but we were getting strange looks for having him in the water)

for this! Every 5 minutes a bell rings and that tells the kids the big bucket that has been filling is almost full and ready to be dumped so they all run to get a "good" spot:

OK then we make it to the Lego Store - He can barely contain his excitement:
So now this brings us to Samantha's BIG surprise! Being a huge fan of Cake Boss on TLC - we took her to Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken. This was crazy!!! First I had ordered a cake 3 weeks prior for Bella's birthday. Steve was/is obsessed with fondant and there was no way we weren't going to get a cake. When I ordered the cake I was told there will be 2 lines when we get to the bakery and we are to stand on the shorter of the 2. The short line is meant for the cake orders. After realizing we aren't going to find a parking spot Steve pulls over just long enough for Sam, Bella and me to jump out of the truck. Steve then precedes to drive around for 45min. while we were in the bakery. It's located in such a pretty town but the parking is INSANE and NON-EXISTENT! OK so I ask the bouncer guy at the door about being told of 2 lines and he tells me to go right in. Amongst cries from the crown on line I push Sam and Bella through the door - I wish I would have taken a picture of the line - it is to the left in this picture and wrapped around the building. It was long but later we find out it was a 3 hour long wait - OMG!
OK so here Sam is at the counter - if you watch the show you'll know what I'm talking about if you don't...well you can figure it out. So Sam was completely star struck. As she is standing there all the sisters are running around along with Buddy's wife and his nephew Buddy.
Here's Mary (the mean one) She wasn't mean while we were there and she even made a point of telling a customer to tell her friends that she wasn't mean. Oh and this was also my attempt of getting a picture of Sam with her....lol Nuttin nut forehead
We are standing in the back and this was what it looked like from where we stood. This picture doesn't do it justice because it was really really PACKED!
There's Buddy's wife. Oh and one more thing in the picture above look at all the girls behind the counter (and another sister) I had counted 30 girls at one point. The place is hoppin!
OK so now there's a girl helping us. She is getting the cake and finding the 2 dozen lobster claws we ordered. Then there was the crumb cake and Sam wanted canolli's. While she is running around gathering our goodies I hear one of the other girls say that Buddy was in the building. Fortunately she wasn't making too much of a big deal so I grabbed, Amanda, that was helping us and I tell her I hear Buddy was in the building and do you think he would sign Sam's hat. She takes it along with Sam's sweatshirt and gets him to sign it! Sam is completely freaked out and can't move. We still hadn't seen him at this point but she didn't care it was enough that she got his autograph. By now Steve has called once already explaining that he is circling. I tell him it shouldn't be much longer and just as I said that a cameraman walks out. OMG they are going to film. I hang up on Steve in the commotion and start freaking out for Sam - I'm standing there shaking her and pushing her into a good position. So the camera guy starts telling everyone that there is to be no flash photography and that the only way to get on TV is to NOT look into the camera. At this point Sam is just as still as a board. Bella has really no idea cause she is level with the cupcakes behind the counter so she is just staring at them. OK the camera guy then tells the crowd that Buddy is going to come out. OMG I am shaking Sam again pushing her further towards the counter. It's crazy! We are standing RIGHT IN FRONT. Just as I think we are set a very tall couple comes out and stands right in front of me at the counter. Turns out they are going to be filming a "thing" for the show. OK cool I get it but the woman standing next to me with her 2 small children doesn't care and gets mad at the lady and wants her to move so that her kids have a better view. The tall lady was very nice (I totally wouldn't have been) and explained to the mean lady that she needed to stand there as she would be filming something. Then Buddy comes out and everyone goes nuts and camera flashes go off everywhere. The camera dude puts his camera down and stands on a stool. He precedes to yell at the crowd "what did I just say about no flashes" We all laugh and they start over again. I was standing right behind the woman looking like a total ass staring off at some cakes. The whole time Sam is standing just a few feet from Buddy and SHE IS JUST STUNNED and can't move. It was pretty funny.

Finally she needed to sit and ended up getting to sit here. This is where the consultations take place. She was so excited now she couldn't get up
We finally leave but we can't get out of the store because there are so many people I don't know what I am going to do. So the nice girl helping us carries all our goods to the front but behind the counter. The kids and I 10 min. later make it to the front door. I grab the cake and Sam and Bella grab the other bags. At this point Steve just happened to be coming around the block and is waiting at the light. We start to make our way but realize we are walking against the line outside and when I got into the car Steve said the people were staring at us that he thought we were going to get jumped...lol As Sam jumps in the car she starts screaming that Buddy was there and she got to see him and he signed the hat and sweatshirt for her. Well we were getting into the car where the end of the line was and people starting freaking out. I'm yelling at Sam to get in the car and shut the door. Seriously it was so crazy!
I couldn't open the boxes quick enough. The smells were killing us. These are the lobster claws....
OMG they would be totally worth a 3 hour long wait!

OK I totally thought it was going to taste like crap. You know it looks good but that's it. Well I couldn't be more wrong. It tasted even better than it looked!
My brother's girlfriend made these adorable penguin cupcakes and they deserved recognition - the one in the back is the one that Sophia ate:
she felt no remorse about eating it either
