Don't forget the teachers!!!

Even if you only send a thank you card do something - as Steve would say "do something resembling anything". The teachers work hard all year and they get little thanks. I am sure they would appreciate it!

My thanks this year came courtesy of Jen. Fantastic idea with a bit of trouble implementing it but worth it in the end. This is my cricut machine. I use it to cut paper and more paper into shapes and letters. Jen came up with the brilliant idea of cutting self sticking vinyl and sticking it to tubs and making "summer baskets"



I ran the vinyl through and this is what it looks like after the letters are pealed off:

It was a fantastic idea until I realized I needed to make 17 of them. Jen had to only make 4! They are "summer" related it's filled with a sudoku book, lollipops, pencils, water bottle, sun tan lotion, those little packets you mix with the water to make lemonade.

So go on now....go do something nice for the teachers in your kids lives!
