Well I couldn't have been more wrong. By the time the train pulled into Penn Station the rain had stopped and it was warm. I held my breath trying to get to Steve's office just waiting for the skies to open up but not a drop. We decide to take our chances and walk down 5th Avenue. Where were all the people?!?! The city was empty! We casually moved around with ease. Got to see the tree without a crowd of insanity. Walked down all of 5th Avenue and not one person bumped into me. Took our time looking at all the holiday windows. It was perfect! We had lunch at the Rockefeller Center Cafe which is around the rink. So we ate lunch and watched all the skaters. Steve's highlight was watching a guy fall flat on his face and then excitedly explain to me in detail as they picked him up and he was bleeding and they had to take him off the ice. It's the little things.
We ended the day watching the Radio City Music Show with the Rockettes. The kids sat on the edge of their seat the whole time. Lil Steven was the most excited to see it which surprised Steve and I. It's true what they say - it really was a great experience watching thru the eyes of your children.
Just a few pics from our day....
I was having camera issues - but trust me the TREE is fantastic this year!

See practically empty - look at the people move about

Really this is not normal to not have a crowd here. All the rain kept people away and it worked out in our favor. By the time we were done with lunch the sun came out!

It's really not Christmas time until I see the big red balls....lol
This was a great display:
The kids are getting a closer look at the ice skaters during lunch:

Inside Tiffany's. Now my sweet little boy went up to his Daddy and said he loved the carpet and would like some for the house. He is gonna make an awesome husband and or interior decorator :)

OK now it wouldn't be fair if I didn't end this with what was a perfect ending to my day. As I said earlier I was having camera problems. For the past 2 days my camera has been dead. Last night when we came home I thought it would have fixed itself but sadly it was still dead. Then magically a brand new camera appeared on my desk. Leave to that husband of mine. I told him I didn't want a new camera 100 times over. I was fine with mine and didn't need an upgrade. So let me just say this - I am sooo glad he didn't listen to me cause this new camera is freakin AMAZING!!!! I love it - thanks babe for, again, doing the complete opposite of what I asked.
