All because of a leak!
So we have a leak in the pool. The leak has turn into an annoyance I can't describe. It's like....well it sucks that's all I can say. So we tried to find the leak but have had no luck. So now out backyard has been turned into a muddy playground for the filthy. OK mainly a playground for the dogs since the kids haven't asked to go and dig in it. As of right now we are at a stand still until the pool guys can come and do their thing. They went from not being busy to getting booked through the fall. We are hoping for no rain from here until Tuesday. If that happens then the pool guys can come and do their thing. Which is replacing the liner and reworking all of the pipes so that we can switch it over to a salt water pool. Once that is all done then the masonry guys can come and work their magic. I am excited to see the end result and hope the picture in my head looks as good in real life

Best Vacation Yet!
I don't even know where to begin! This was the best vacation we have had yet! Everything was perfect right down to the most comfortable bed we slept on. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I am trying to figure out what they liked the most. Maybe it was the pools or the sun and sand. Oh it could be the chance they got to swim with the dolphins. No that's not it - I am guessing the favorite part for my children would have to be...wait for it......
We all had a fun time on the current and the rapids. The kids love the water playground. Steve had more than enough fun in the "plummet to your death" slides. Oh and even more fun when he made me go down them and laughed with the lifeguards at my blood curdling screams.
We would say that Sophia probably had the most fun! She is at the perfect age to enjoy everything in pure amazement. She was constantly ohhhhing and ahhhhing at everything. Oh and believe me she ate just as much as the others.
Our star sighting of the trip was Kid Rock. Like a groupie I followed him for 2 days with more than enough opportunities to get a picture but never took any because I didn't think it was right. He had lots of fun on the slides and YES he had hot blondes with him!
Now since this is my blog and not Steve's only my side of the story gets on here and since we all know I am always right then there is no need to hear any other side of the story. I will give him the credit for turning me on to "3 card poker" but nothing else. When all was said and done at the end of the week I was up more than he. He lost more than me...as usual and that's all I am going to say about that. One more thing....Yes you do play 3 - 2's!! 3 OF A KIND BABY BIG MONEY BIG BIG MONEY!!!!!
ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFETS!!
Really how obsessed can any one kid be with food. They were very excited to eat! Now as for the rest of the trip everyone had a great time. Samantha got to spend her birthday with the dolphins and then, of course, she had a great dinner at Carmines. In true Pepe style we ordered way to much food and ended up bringing doggies bags back to the nice people in guest services. We all had a fun time on the current and the rapids. Leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again....
OK I know when we'll be back...in a week. Steve, me, the kids and poor Tara (she has no idea what she's in for) are off for our much needed, long awaited vaca in sunny Bahama's. So excited!! The kids still have no idea that we are going - I love these surprises for them. They'll be swimming with the dolphins on Saturday for Sam's birthday. She is gonna freak!!!
I am sure I will have tons of photo's for you when I return.

Stole this from a friend - thought it was well said!

Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same.

Meet Max
This is Max. He is the son of my friend Amanda. I had a "girls weekend" away and went to visit Amanda and friends in Minneapolis. Max is Bella's male counterpart complete with Lipstick. Bella was born on the day that Amanda found out that Max was a boy. Max was supposed to be her Isabella Rose. Max and Bella will meet one day and will fight to rule the world!
