It's raining I had time on my hands

I added a few posts here all at once cause...well it's raining and I was bored. Now I am off to the grocery store cause I am hungry...what else is new !

The Annual Tascarella Egg Hunt!

I thought I would have a little fun with this post and give a look back through the years but that has caused way more drama than I needed right now and I will spend the rest of the evening freaking out. Some how my computer has misplaced some photo's - particularly all of 2008 and it is causing me some stress. So this is all I have for right now but plan on fixing this right away.

This is the beginning of the tradition. If I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me but this is the earliest picture I have - so this is the beginning for me damn it!

Here's Sophia in 2009. Now 2008 would have been her 1st one and I know I have pictures but can't seem to locate them on my hard drive at this moment:

She was just walking PAST all the eggs until I told her to stop and pick them up

"Like this Mom?!?"

Somehow she recruited Grandma for a little assistance

Here is the invincible Duo of Ryan and Steven.

Sophia finally got wise and had Grandma hold the basket while she filled it...

Louis and Vincent.......is Louis drinking while egg hunting ?!?!?

Thanks to Danielle (oh and I guess Tom too) for yet another spectacular Egg Hunt! The rain made it even more enjoyable this year - maybe next year we can get snow

OK 1 last one - first I don't normally stand like this but Virginia had to have a picture of the "vision in pink" so I had to shake it a little....

Aunt Roaslie - THANK YOU!

Samantha was so excited and kept saying how nice it was of you to make her communion bag. She loved it! I got it on film for you -

She's thank you here!

Thank again! It was perfect and Uncle Tony did a good job giving me the details!! Feel Better soon

Steve's Fantasy Baseball draft....

So here is a glimpse into the infamous baseball draft of Steve's. This started many many years ago. These group of boys have known each other for what seems like forever. They grew up together and now our children will have the privilege of doing the same. It's mass craziness and from the looks of it you would think it is completely disorganized - but it is the complete opposite. In the beginning they came with their notebooks and player stats and it took much longer. Years later now, quite a few pounds extra and some less hair they are much more technical with their laptops and such. It is so advanced now that one of the guys (Farmer I hope that little problem with the itch clears up :) )who could not make it up for the draft had these tech savvy boys Skyped him in for the whole 7 or so hour event.

My dinning room was left unharmed. Minimal scratches left on the floor none on my table THANK GOD! No children were harmed during the event only over fed. No dogs were harmed either. We had an incident with gummy bears one year...oh that's a story. Bell's a bastard!

All joking aside this right here is the best of the best - these boys would do anything for each other and for that I am always thankful for their friendships that have continued year after year. Some have moved away and some have stayed but no matter where they are they will always be great friends.

Cookies, Cookies and more cookies.....

OK so last weekend I needed to make favors for my good friends baby shower. As per the request of the guest of honor it was cookies that were in demand. So here's the kicker there was 70 people going that meant that I needed 70 favors - I started baking early:

Here was the beginning of the packaging. Look at that plate of cookies teetering on the edge....

This is what 500 cookies look like later:

Another view for all you cookie fanatics - believe it not I had not 1 left over. I ate 1 cookie myself in the beginning - you know to make sure it tasted right and the rest went into a box

Don't really have anything to say right now

I know you'll laugh but I am speechless right now. I am a bit bored to be honest. This where I am sure you are screaming at the computer saying I have lost my mind. How can she be bored with being pregnant with her 5th having the other 4 running around like maniacs and lets not even count the dogs. We had a busy weekend. I had a baby shower for a very good friend and I had to bake 500 cookies for the favors. YES I said 500. I started at 10am and finished at 2pm. It wasn't too bad really and NO there are none left over. Steve had his fantasy baseball draft on Sunday with all that craziness. I have pictures but that would require me to remove myself from my current location of the couch and I have the good spot. So I know if I get up Steve will steal it. No it doesn't matter that I am pregnant there are no rules when it comes to getting the good spot.

I finally caved and hired a cleaning lady(s) and they spent over 4 hours today cleaning this house from top to bottom. They found more missing things then I could have ever imagined. Now I know where all the socks go.....just anywhere and everywhere where this kids leave them.

Sam and Bella are having a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa. Steven, Jr. and Sophia are sleeping. All my current "projects" are up to date. My Easter baskets are for the most part filled and ready to be wrapped but I need to go to the store to get those bags that you just stick the basket in and tie with a ribbon.

I'm hungry but again that would require me to get up so I guess I will starve. So here I sit bored. See I knew I shouldn't have hired a cleaner. Oh and Steve just asked me who betrayed Jesus...see how exciting we are :)
